Our annual Jog-a-thon fundraiser is just around the corner. 

We are excited for Friday, October 3rd! 

This is an important school fundraiser that helps provide educational resources for all students. The cost to educate each child exceeds the amount of tuition that is charged. 

We ask all families to raise $200 in fundraising throughout the school year to help cover some of this cost – this is your chance to participate and meet your goal!
Our annual Jog-a-thon will be more of a field day. 

We want our Spartans to “LEVEL UP” to our fundraising challenges.
 

Here is how to participate in this year’s Jog-a-thon Field Day: 

CALENDAR CHALLENGE (Spartan Grand Prize Level) -
“Pick a Date to Donate” September calendar. Every Spartan family is being challenged to find a sponsor for every date in the month of September.
What does this mean? Ask your donors to pick a number on the September calendar. If they pick Sept. 1st, they pay a donation of $1. If they pick Sept. 24, they pay a donation of $24. Try to get your ENTIRE family calendar
filled up with sponsors. You can either let your donors know what days you still need help with, or ask for a general donation and split it across days you still need to cover. 

How does this relate to the Jog-a-thon? 

Instead of just a walking/jogging path, we will have the SPARTAN
EXERCISE STATION on Jog-a-thon Day. 

For every dollar your child collects for their calendar, he/she will do that number of exercise rotations at our Spartan station. This is as simple as one jump with a jump rope for $1 raised. 

If your family fills the entire calendar you will have raised $465 and your child(ren) will complete 465 “exercises” on Jog-a-thon day. Don’t panic, our PE teachers are planning some fun things for students to reach their goals.
We will also have a FIRETRUCK spraying our Spartans at this exercise station. So, jumping jacks under the spray of water sounds like a great way to raise money. 

• SPARTAIN GRAND PRIZE LEVEL - will be achieved if your family completes the calendar and raises $465. _{**See our prize chart for all the details.} 

• T-shirt Level: Once your family raises the minimum donation, all STG students will receive a Jog-a-thon t-shirt (this can be worn on Jog-a-thon Day and Fridays throughout the year) 

   

  Raise the t-shirt donation for your family:

  • STG families with only one child at school: $35

  • STG families with two or more children at school: $70

   

• WATERSLIDE LEVEL: Raise your minimum family goal of $200 and all STG students in your family will get a wristband. This means your child(ren) will get to participate in the waterslides area on Jog-a-thon day.
   

  How can you raise donations?

1.  SOCIAL MEDIA - You can also encourage friends on Social Media to donate through this link! We have a link on our website for sponsors to make donations online. You can include our school website in your letters or emails. Be sure to tell family/friends to type your child’s name and/or family name in the text box when donating on the website, so students will receive the credit.

2. Send out letters or emails to friends and family members asking them to sponsor you. If you send letters in the mail, be sure to include a response form (see example letter) along with a self-addressed and stamped return envelope to St. Gregory School. 

3. Pay the minimum donation for your family yourself. You can donate through the website above or send cash or check to the front office. Checks made payable to St. Gregory Catholic School Family September Calendar - 

4. Find as many donors as possible. Each dollar equals one "exercise" your Spartan will complete at the Spartan Exercise Station on Jog-a-thon Field Day. You only need to complete/work on ONE calendar per family. 

If you want a paper copy - just send a student to the school office to pick one up for your family.
